Drop of Shadow is a transparent gray ink additive that can be used to deepen the color of other Kuretake inks.

To use, place the amount of pure colored ink into a mixing well or small cup. Add Drop of Shadow with the supplied pipette to darken your ink. A ratio of 10:1 drops of pure color to Drop of Shadow will yield a muted color, while increasing the Drop of Shadow ratio significantly can deepen your ink to a tinted shade of black.

Drop of Shadow is compatible with the Ink Café system of DIY pens, brush pens, dip and glass pens, and fountain pens. It can be mixed with the Art Nouveau Inks, Drop of Shimmer Inks, and Meiji No Iro Inks.
