Kuretake® Ink-Cafe Meiji No Iro Ebicha Ink (Plum), .7oz
The Meiji era in Japan ushered forth a combination of traditional Japanese cultural associations and western influences during the mid to late 1800s. Each ink in this series is inspired by a symbol of this time period.
Ebicha is a chocolatey purple that was worn by the people of Japan instead of traditional purple, which was reserved for the wealthy. The color purple is associated with royalty and nobility in western cultures. The brown undertones are reminiscent of tea and can symbolize simplicity, warmth, and earthy elements.
Use this dye-based ink with glass pens, fountain pens, dip pens, or brushes.
