Moss Green is a mid-tone green with a gray undertone that is similar to Nile but is slightly more saturated. It falls into the neutral green range of the temperature spectrum that consists of Willow, Grass, Apple, and Light Olive, Nile, Jade, Moss, Leaf, Holly, and Spruce. These colors appear to take on a yellow bias when positioned with the blue-greens and a blue bias when juxtaposed with the yellow-greens. They blend well with their color group to create gradations, and color and tonal transitions. Evergreen and Deep Evergreen are options to create deep, reflective shadows with Moss Green, while Grass and Willow make highlights for this color. Emerald - Moss - Palm greens makes for a smooth gradient with the yellow-green range, while a Holly - Moss - Apple combination makes a deep to medium transitional gradient with the gray-green range.
