The Blender is a colorless marker that can be used in a number of ways. The blender can be used on paper to smooth gradations between other AD Markers, and to lift other AD Marker color on non-porous surfaces, such as Grumbacher Moto Polypropylene film. When colored AD Markers are applied to acetate or a glass palette, the blender can be used like a paint brush to mix hues to make a custom color that is applied directly with the Blender onto a substrate. Another unique feature of the blender is to transfer images. Images printed from a copier, laser printer, or any other toner based image can be transferred onto a wide range of surfaces. This is useful if your surface cannot go through a printer such as wood or a wall. Simply print out your toner based image and place image side down onto your surface. Use the Blender marker on the back of your image to make a transfer using medium pressure. Transfers will only work on a toner based image and will not work with images printed from an ink-jet machine.
This xylene-based marker is long-lasting and extremely blendable. The replaceable tri-nib tip offers the versatility of three marker points in one: Fine point, Medium chisel edge, and Broad sided edge.
