I’m a tattoo apprentice and a freelance fantasy illustrator. I work in watercolor and have used Grumbacher Finest for over a decade now. I possess my MFA in Children's Book Illustration from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA (2016) and BA in Art Education from Westfield State University in Westfield, MA (2013). My work has shown in various galleries, such as the Monserrat College of Art in Berkley, MA (2022), the Richard Michelson Gallery in Northampton, MA (2018), and the Arno Mars gallery in Westfield, MA (2020). I have obtained awards such as the Richard Michelson Emerging Artist Award (2018), and the Tricksters Art Gallery in Berkeley, CA (2014). I have worked primarily in watercolor, and though I continue to pursue Children's Book opportunities, as well as bringing tattooing into my portfolio, my work has solely been focused on the realms of Fantasy Art. I have found solace in these powerful aspects, creatures and worlds of the unreal, where my art has been able to have freedom of expression, growth, imagination, and exploration, as well as providing a place of solace for myself and for others. Currently, with my guinea pigs Moogie and Potato, my cats Queen NeferTiTi and Sir Chester, and my loving husband Jacob, we ride motorcycles and take on the world one creative adventure at a time.
