Grumbacher® Academy® Watercolor 10-Color Set, 7.5 ml. Tubes

An excellent set for building your watercolor palette, this set has all the essential colors for getting a start in watercolor painting, and include a brush and mixing palette! Two reds and two blues mix well with the yellow included to give you a full range of secondary colors that can be further shaded or muted with black and earth tones. A tube of Chinese White can be used to add opacity to colors for painting on dark or tinted papers, or for adding special effects over dried watercolor.

Academy Watercolor Round Size 6 Brush
Several sizes of white taklon filaments are encased within a seamless brass plated nickel ferrule, making our brushes less likely to shed or lose their handles after repeated use. Varied filament sizes allow for an amazing capacity to hold liquid, and for laying down color in smooth, fluid strokes. An Academy brush is exceptionally durable and maintains a perfect shape even with repeated use. It also cleans up easily and is less prone to breakage than many other watercolor brushes.

Watercolor Mixing Palette
This lightweight palette contains 7 small wells and 2 additional medium sized wells for holding tubed color, mixing, and diluting color with water. The bright white color allows artists to see the exact color they lay down on paper, and cleans easily with soap and water.

Goldenedge® Watercolor #Round Size 10 SKU - 4620.10 Size - 10 Round: Shorter hair than a liner, rounds come in a wider variety of sizes from very fine to extra large. Smaller sizes are typically used for detail work and larger sizes tend to be used for washes and filling in color. A round brush stroke is tapered and can create lines that are fine to thick. The round has less versatility than the flatter brushes.
