Higgins Black Magic Ink

Higgins Black Magic India Ink is a premium, professional-grade ink that offers deep, rich pigmentation ideal for a wide range of artistic and technical applications. Black Magic is made with a finely dispersed carbon pigment that ensures a consistent, even application, whether using dip pens, brushes, or airbrushes. Its quick-drying formula prevents smudging, making it a reliable choice for detailed work that requires sharpness and clarity. Black Magic is water resistant, meaning it may smudge with water or other inks when used on less porous surfaces. This may be avoided when allowed to dry for 24 hours, or maybe used advantageously to blend shades and gradients within a short window. It’s ideal for use as a top layer in a mixed media composition or alone for striking contrast on white surfaces.

Made for mixing, our pigment selections ensure the widest range of combinations for the broadest artist's palette. These inks are brilliant, lightfast, and compatible with all other acrylic painting media, such as gels and texturizing mediums, yet are extremely fluid. Five metallic colors offer highly opaque coverage when layered. Use with brushes, dip pens, glass pens, and airbrushes. Not compatible with fountain or technical pens. Each bottle contains agitators. Shake well before use.
