Koh-I-Noor® Rapido-Eze® Pen Cleaner Kit

Rapido-Eze® Cleaning Solution is effective for removing wet and dry ink from Koh-I-Noor® technical pen parts as well as film, working surfaces, and tools. The bulb syringe lets you apply focused pressure to clean out pen parts, while the nib key helps to dismantle Rapidograph® pens for more thorough cleaning. This pen cleaner is odorless and clean rinsing. 

Directions: Shake well before use.

Using the nib key, unscrew the nib from the pen body. Thread nib into a Koh-I-Noor® pressure-bulb cleaning syringe.  First, flush several times with water to remove residual ink. Next, flush several times with Koh-I-Noor® Rapido-Eze® Pen Cleaner, which is designed specifically to remove dry Koh-I-Noor® ink residue. Finally, flush again with clean water.  Soaking the nib and pen body overnight in Rapido-Eze may be necessary when extremely dirty or clogged. An ultrasonic jewelry cleaner may be used with Rapido-Eze® for cleaning all pen parts. Clean with ultrasonic action for no more than 2 minutes at a time.  Rinse pen nib with pressure bulb syringe.  Rinse all parts under lukewarm running water.  Reassemble the nib into the pen body until it is finger-tight. Do not use the nib key to tighten. If storing the pen, empty the ink from it and clean it before storing. If re-using immediately, fill ink reservoir and follow start-up instructions.

Clean technical and calligraphy pens before storage, especially if the pen will not be in use for longer than two weeks. It's also recommended to clean pens between refills or color changes. For periodic maintenance and ultrasonic cleaners, dilute Rapido-Eze with four parts water to one part pen cleaner. Regardless of dilution, rinse pen parts with clean, lukewarm water.
