Holly Green is a deep green with gray undertones and a cool bias. It falls between the neutral green range of the temperature spectrum and the cool blue-green spectrum. Emerald is has the same value as Holly but has a more yellow bias whereas Slate Green has a more blue bias. Holly Green blends well with the neutral and blue greens to create gradations, and color and tonal transitions. Holly - Spruce - Forest - Dark Mint - Mint is a combination that makes a smooth gradient from neutral to cool greens. Holly - Moss - Apple - Willow is a combination that makes a smooth gradient with the neutral green range.
