Sand is similar to Pink Sand but with a more yellow bias with the gray-brown color spectrum. It's gray undertone makes it a muted color in comparison to its counterpoints in the yellow-brown spectrum, Desert Tan and Pale Cherry. It can be used as a highlight color with Mocha and Burnt Umber. Sand can be used as the lightest tone in a gradient with Dark Tan and Delta brown as well as in a gradient with Mocha and Burnt Umber. Sand can also be used to create light shadows for Blush, Rosé, and Pale Rosé.
